Sounds like a search engine is indexing your forum, or someone trying to gain access to the forum by trying random user/password combinations.

If it is a search engine you can put robots.txt file in the forum's web root dir to block search engines from indexing the forums.
if this is a hacker trying to compromise someone's account, check your logs and ban their IP.
Edit:
Read your 2nd message just now.
The best way to handle this "user" is to deny them access via firewall or web server settings.

Anoymous Coward is the default anonymous username installed with the forum.
I get this type of traffic every month or so, and believe its a search engine crawling the forum. This was recently confirmed when I installed webalizer and after a few months noticed that an address from the MSN Search domain has a significant about of page hits.
Unless you have some sensitive material in your forums, having a search engine crawl your site is not a bad thing!
