I'm quoting one of my users:
Quote:

Is it possible to quote selectively e.g. by selecting the text you want to quote, then click the quote button. This quotes everything but I have a feeling there's an easy way to do this that I don't know about - other than copying selectively then using the "quote" formatting tool ??

This doesn't work with IE 6.0.2900blabla XP SP2 and firefox 1.5. Neither on our forums nor here.

Does it depend on user OS?
Or maybe it needs a special keys combination?

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

And what should I check if this is OS problem?
Thank you in advance.

I tried IE 6.0 and Firefox 1.0.7 on Windows XP SP2 and in both cases it worked flawlesly on my system here. I simply selected the text I wanted quoted, and clicked on the quote button.

Sorry, but it doesn't quote my selected text on my system. It does quote the entire message. I guess then, it might be not related to FUD. But would you be so kind to give me any hints how to catch the problem?
Thank you in advance.

Try applying the following patch and see if it does the trick:
http://bb.prohost.org/lib.js.txt
