Message bodies of PMs are blank in my installation of V 2.7.4 RC2 [message #29996]

PM message bodies are suddenly empty since I upgraded to version 2.7.4RC2. I sent a test message to myself here and the problem does not seem to be occurring at this installation.

Any ideas on why this could be happening?

Addendum: I am not using "store in database" option.

I haven't made any changes to PM in any of my themes, and I've just verified that the problem also occurs in the default theme.

I had changed the setting for "notify with body" to yes. Tried toggling that and there is no difference. No message body appears in the notification email either when it is set to yes, nor in "Sent" messages; it seems to be disappearing at "Send". Tagline does appear if included.

Server info: installation is running on Apache 1.3.34 on Linux, PHP 4.4.1, MySQL 4.1.14-standard

It doesn't matter whether or not I preview the message; the message body appears when I preview but always disappears when sent whether I've previewed or not.

Addendum: the "private" file appears in the directory with the regular message files; it is smaller than them and has the same permissions.

A user reports that "save draft" also loses the message body.

Found fix in CVS and installed it.
