I was just thinking. I'll bet that I should have used the "Rebuild Theme" in the Theme Manager and then run the consistanncy checker and all would have been fine. For some reason I thought running the consistancy checker would rebuild the theme. You would think that I'd know by now.

That's the answer isn't it?
