I am installing the newer version of fudforum in egroupwareRC8. I installed fudforum means, in the setuip page, I got an error message like cannot create a directory 3814588639. So i created the directory and gave permissions to it. Again when I tried to reinstall it , I got an error message like cannot copy index.php to 3814588639/index.php. So i did it. Later When I reinstalled it again it is shwing an error like previous cannot copy index,php ( where as it is already copied).

when I tried to access it from the browser I got an error message like

The requested URL /egroupware/fudforum/3814588639/3814588639/index.php was not found on this server.

Previously once I solved this error by seeing some of the posts. if orgot what i have dont and so not able to redo the work i have done. cAn anyone help me.

I even copied the compiler.inc file into the include directory which i founf in one of the forum.
I dont remember exactly which forum.

Did you make sure that the webserver user has write access to the forum directories?

Sorry for late reply. I was not at work for nearly 10 days.

When I am giving the URL /egroupware/3814588639/index.php , the page is redirected to the following link and so the error followed is displayed...
