Hi,
I installed FudForum and want to convert my Ikonboard MySQL database. I downloaded the file you offered, ikon.php, but I can't get it to work.

Exactly what is the $IKONBOARD_CFG_PATH?
Is this the cgi-bin or htdocs part of Ikonboard?

And, what directory?

I'll double check that then try the conversion again - unless, of course, you tell me that the conversion program won't work with today's Ikonboard.

That is the path to the Ikonboard's configuration directory.

Hey! It's great to get such a fast reply.

I don't know where the configuration directory is. There are several directories, some in htdocs and some in cgi-bin. Some names are Data, Database, Source, etc. It's not intutively obvious to me where they would put the config files.

Can someone help me determine where it is.

Look for file called config.pl, that the file to which you need to specify the path to iirc.

Sorry, there is no such file.
The MySQL parameters (login, database name, etc) are in /path/to/cgi-bin/ikonboard/Data/Boardinfo.cgi
Now what?

No go.
I used the server path and filename as the parameter.
$IKONBOARD_CFG_PATH = "/home/mydir/mysite.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/Data/Boardinfo.cgi";

The error was:
Query Failure: SELECT * FROM ib_categories ORDER BY CAT_POS
SQL Reason: No Database Selected
