Ok I just upgraded and the new forum looks nice. I have a problem though. It appears that users who are not logged in can't view the forums. I am trying to figure out how to change it so that everyone can view the forums but only registered users can post or reply. From what I can gather this is done in the groups management but I am confused as to how to do this. Please help,
Heidi

The group system is documented clearly in the documentation posted on the site. Just click on the documentation link, if you still have questions after that, then by all means ask.

Make sure that Anonymous users have READ & VISIBLE premissions to the forums you want to be able to see & read.

In the Groups Manager, Global Anonymous Access READ is set to YES and VISIBLE is also YES. When I logoff I see the boards but they are not clickable... Shouldn't I be able to click on them and view the posts when I am logged off with these settings?
Thank you for bearing with me as I try to get this right.

Each forum has its own group, those groups appear to have the visible permission set to YES, but the READ permission is set to no.
I've made an account on the forum, 'prottoss' if you want me to look at your settings and give you a valid suggestions on a solution, assing my account temporary admin priveleges.

P.S. please hurry up, cause it is 3:30am here heh

Sent you a PM on your forum with what to do.

The problem is that you did NOT give the Anonymous users the 'READ' permission.

I feel like a major dip here Confused I read you PM and I went to Group Manager > I don't see anywhere to edit the 'Anonymous' user permissions.
BTW I apologize for all the popups... the ad server for my site seems to be going haywire... there not suposed to do that.
