Hi,
I've pulled the latest CVS and since updating the files on the server its display of date and time seems to be broken for me. What I already tried was changing permissions so the server can write on the files but this didn't change anything
The date shows up as
aktuelle Zeit: Don Jan 1 01:00:00 CET 1970
Here's the copy n paste of the server's configuration:
PHP built On: Linux XXXXX 2.4.16-64GB-SMP #1 SMP Tue Dec 18 13:54:20 GMT 2001 i686 unknown MySQL Version: 3.23.44-log PHP Version: 4.1.2 Web Server: Apache/1.3.20 (Linux/SuSE) mod_jk mod_ssl/2.8.4 OpenSSL/0.9.6b mod_python/2.7.5 Python/2.1.1 mod_perl/1.26 PHP/4.1.2 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 WebServer to PHP interface: apache Forum Version: 2.0.2 Relavent PHP Settings:
Safe Mode: ON
Display Errors: ON
File Uploads: ON
Magic Quotes: ON
Register Globals: ON
Output Buffering: OFF
Disabled Functions: none
PSpell Support: No
All updated files were from today (one file in the adm dir and several from the src dir in "templates") so it's got to be one of the new files
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Ken

update:
Only the time display on bottom is broken, all other functions are still working (time when last visited, posted etc.) So it seems to be a minor problem
bye

The latest CVS is VERY VERY unstable at the point since we are working on integrating what will become version 2.1 into it now. I would adivise against using the CVS for the next 24 hours or so.
The problem you are seeing has to do with a certain define not being lowercased. We had to lower case the defines to bypass a bug PHP involving the handling of defines with non english locales.

Hm ok, thnx for the warning.
If I knew where the code was hidden I'd fix it myself but unfortunately I have some other work to do right now. So I leave it as is and wait for the new release ^-^
bye
