I was trying to figure out a problem with my forums attachments and tried "unlocking the files" in the admin section. Now all I get is an internal server error when trying to access the forum. I'm guessing the permissions changed. Any Ideas?

Sounds like your server disallows usage of files with loose permissions 666/777

It is not a common issue, but some people have reported encountering it in the past, I suspect it is a consequence of some "security" module on their hosting provider.
