Would it be possible to have HTML and FUDcode enabled at the same time? I know it is currently set up to only allow one or the other, but do you think it would be possible to have them both on or would it cause some funky problems?

No. This was requested before and I explained in detail why is it a bad idea. If you are interested in reasons, search the message archive.

I searched for "html" and "FUDcode" but this was the oldest thread returned that seemed relevant.

It would be nice to have the option of using WYSIWYG, FUDCode enabled but that also accepted html tags. Most of our forums use FUDcode, but we wanted to allow html tags in one of them. It is an unattractive option without the WYSIWYG though.

The reason our users want html is so they can EMBED certain content (youtube is a big thing right now). I doubt that you would want to make that a regular FUDcode tag.

HTML support can be enabled but is exclusive to FUDcode. Personally enabling HTML support opens a massive security hole and I definitely would not recommend using it. There are a number of WYSIWYG JavaScript plug-ins available on the web you could simply "stick" into post.tmpl template and have it short-cut HTML tags.

I agree; that is why we were only considering it for one non-public forum, with extra help to monitor the posts there.

I'll check it out; thanks.
