Hi,
I have downloaded the FudForum and trying to implement it on a project that I am working on at http://www.communityhooks.org
Basically this site has Organization that has members and so on. There can be any number of organizations. I want each organization maintainer to be able to create a mailing list with an email id @communityhooks.org. This email assigned via the creation from of FUD should actually create the email id and members to be able to post and receive mails via email and web based. Can this be implemented with FudForum?
Kind regards
Adrian

Well, if you link forum with a mailing list. Then any e-mail posted to the forum would go out to the configured mailing list.

When you are creating a new forum you do not need to specify an e-mail address. You only specify a mailing list address when setting up a mailing list rule.
The forum does not create e-mail addresses, any that are specified must already exist.
