Hi
I'm downloading Polish newsgroup, where several different encodings are used (iso-8859-2, cp-1250, utf-8). They are displayed "as is" - is there any way to convert them automatically?
I also can't post to newsgroup. In error log I see:
"Posting Failed, NNTP Server Said: 441 From: address not in Internet syntax"

I tried with regular newsreader and posting works ok with this newsserver. What can be wrong?

Update: I found that the second problem occurs only when "Obfuscate e-mails in NNTP posts:" in general settings is set to YES. Disabling it fixes the problem... but it isn't good solution Crying or Very Sad

Thanks

You can use iconv to convert the charsets to something uniform in the import script.
