I'm running version 2.02 of FUDforum, because I keep encountering fatal errors when trying to upgrade. I am hosted in Britain, which is where all my FUDforum timestamps come from, even though my server is set to default at Pacific time. I noticed that where the Current Time template is, it calls for '!__REQUEST_TIMESTAMP__' Is there any way to manually change this, i.e., after the timestamp is requested, automatically subtract 8 hours off?

Change the timezone to Britain, that'll handle the problem.

Sorry, I was really not clear in that last post. My server is in Britain, but I want the timestamp to show Pacific time. The timestamp shows British time, even though it is set to Pacific time, so I am trying to overcome this and force it to show Pacific time.

You need to change the timezone for yourself in your profile as well.

I have done that as well. It is not just doing this to me - it is doing it to everyone on the server. Also, anonymous users see British time, rather than Pacific time, even though I have it properly configured in the admin section of FUDforum.

If that question is regarding the server that I am on, the OS is some sort of *nix flavor, running Apache. It is set to GMT, because it is located in Britain. I am located in the US, and I have the FUDforum set to Pacific time.

If an anonymous user sees the site, it is reported as being GMT. If a logged in user sees the site, it is reported as GMT unless that users refreshes the page; at that point, Pacific time is shown. Now I am getting more confused Confused

Unusual. Could you give me a url to the forum, so that I could see the problem for myself?

I just went to that forum as anonymous user and I see:

Current Time: Fri Jul 12 17:10:21 PDT 2002

According to Google PDT == Pacific Daylight Saving Time

According to http://www.worldtimezone.com/time-usa12.html
at the time of the check PDT time was indeed 17:10

Hence, I see no problem.
