I think that in some situations it could be useful to continue a poll even if a topic is locked. A reason could be that the topic is locked to prevent discussion in this topic because the discussion is supposed to take place in another topic.

What do you think about this?

I have also tried to find a solution myself and attached it, but I don't know whether it is good solution.
