Version still 2.7.4 after upgrade to 2.7.6 [message #39042]

Hi

Just upgraded my Forum 2.7.4 to 2.7.6 - Perhaps...

The script finished without any errors, consistency check was OK, forum is running fine.

forum/errors/UPGRADE_STATUS reports "3600"

But every generated page still prints: Powered by: FUDforum 2.7.4

I found the "3600" as new $__UPGRADE_SCRIPT_VERSION in the upgrade.php. So far, so good. But i also found a line $FORUM_VERSION = "2.7.6" in the new core.inc. That does not seem to have any effect.

The core.inc after the update still has the 2.7.4 as $FORUM_VERSION.

Has the forum been updated? Or not?

Hi

No, didn't knew i had to. Now i've just rebuilt the default theme (the only one installed), but that did not change anything.

Do i have to take other steps not mentioned in the UPDATE_README?

Perhaps something with file permissions or (un)locking?

The forum has been locked during the update. I guess the script would have thrown exceptions on file access errors.

I noted that core.inc has been changed last time on install, it has not been touched by the update at all.

Nothing interesting in the logs.

This is what core.inc looks at current time:
