I realize this has been discussed here in other threads but I haven't been able to figure out my particular issue.

In step one of the install, I get the following message:
open_basedir limitation "/home/httpd/vhosts//mydomain.com/httpdocs:/tmp" prevents the install script from writing to "/home/httpd/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/fudforum/". Please ensure that the specified directory is inside the directories listed in the open_basedir directive

The double slashes in the first line seems to be what's wrong but I'm not able to figure out how to change that.

Thanks very much for any help you can offer.

It looks like an open_basedir bug, what version of PHP are you using?

Can you try upgrading your PHP to a later version?
