On my 2.2.3 I noticed, that some users receive notification-mails from the forum and some don't.
I tested nearly every setting of the profil but couldn't find a reason why mailing doesn't work for every user. Of course I changed email-adresses of the users.
I also checked different user-ranks.

The only thing I noticed is the fact, that emailing doesn't work at people who are users of the forum for a long time.

I didn't get any errors on my email-server, so I think FUDForum didn't send these notifications.

Bye, Mike

sMike actually there could be a valid reason for this.
Email notification system has a protection against sending massive amounts of email to the same user. So it won't send notifications if the user had not read previous notifications (went to read messages about which they got notifications) or it has been 1 week since the last notification.

I thought about this and visited the forum frequently.
I also posted a new mail (with notification flag set) and left the forum.
After I replied to that message, I got no notification mail.

Then I turned the situation around and posted with user2 and answered with the first one, and this time I got a notification mail.
