i think that 2 options will be very usefull in user profile:

1. Enable IM status display: on/off (default is off Smile )
2. Topic view when replying: off/topic/message replying to (default is display message replying to only)

topic view can significally slowdown forum when replying to big topics from hosts with slow network connections (dialups for example).

The ability for the user to disable showing of IM indicators has been added in the CVS.
