Well, there is always room for improvment, right now I am at the stage where I am pretty happy with the code itself and mostly my goal is to iron out the few remaining bugs out there.
As for long term plans, I had not considered those to any large extent at this point. I had some ideas as to 3.0, perhaps re-write to utilize php 4.3.0, which offers a number of advantages not found in prior releases. At this point however I'd say its wee bit to early for any long term plans.
