Hi.
One of the users on my forum just disapeared. I can't see any trace of an admin deleting the user (guess that would show in the action log). The user is anyhow not longer there, and all his posts are also gone.. I've looked in the mysql database, and the user is also missing there.. Any ideas on how I can find information on what has happened?
I'm using 2.3.1 on a FreeBSD machine.

This is a known problem that occured somewhere between version 2.2.5 and 2.3.0. The problem occurs when a user tries to change their email, their account is marked unconfirmed and when the unconfirmed accounts that are old are removed this account is inavertainly removed to. Version 2.3.1 contains a partial fix that prevents accounts with any posts from being removed, however it'll still delete an old account if the user had not made any posts.

Upcomming (hopefuly later on today) 2.3.2 version will fully address the problem.
