Hi,
Having trouble figuring out how to turn Anonymous Posting on in a forum. I'm using version 2.3.4 of the software. I've changed the username for an anonymous poster to "Guest" but can't seem to find a way to allow anonymous posting to occur, could someone let me know what I've missed? Rolling Eyes

Use the group managment system (link from the front page) to give Reply/Post permissions to the anonymous user.

Hmm... I found that page, changed it. Anonymous user definitely now has (Yes) for Post and Reply, but for some reason I still get the little dialog saying "You cannot post as an anonymous user". Is this cached somewhere that i'll need to write over?

You did you do this for the correct forum? Each forum has a group of its own, there is no 'global' allow anon users to post setting.

Ah, I was changing "Global Anonymous Access", is that the default setting for new forums? If so I'd suggest changing the setting from "Global" to "Default". Found the correct option now though,
