I have discovered that even though you change the WWW_ROOT from http://my.domain.foo to https://my.domain.foo most of the links on the page still point to http://my.domain.foo that goes for most of the images too.

That needs to be corrected I think.

Regards Mnemonic..

After you've changed the WWW_ROOT did you rebuild the theme? I just checked and there are no hardcoded http:// in the forum code. So, I am guessing you installed the forum on http:// but then changed WWW_ROOT to https://, but never recompiled the theme.

Go to the 'Theme Management' and click on the 'Rebuild Theme' link beside your theme. Reading documentation also helps Wink

That worked well for me thank you.

But now I discovered another issue using FUD Forum and SSL.

When a user registers his ICQ number, the online status icon i a forum msg is pointing to the ICQ whitepages "<img src="http://web.icq.com/whitepages/online?icq=<foo>&amp;img=5" alt="" border=0 /></a>&nbsp;"

And that breakes the SSL encryption. Is there any way to get around this?

Is it possible to disable the icq feature?

You can modify the template not to display icq numbers. There is no way to disable ICQ displaying.

drawmsg.tmpl is the template file you need to modify, Just search for 'icq' in it...
