Protoss,
WebBBS www.awsd.com has been around for a LONG time and there are many, many boards that use it. Its written in Perl and uses flat file text messages. I have a board and use WebBBS 5.11 at:
www.cubanonet.com with about 60,000 (yes, SIXTY thousand) posts in a year and a half.
I have contact with WebBBS board owners and I'm sure when they see this board, they will want to convert! I am right now downloading your GREAT board and will be testing it over the next few weeks. A converter would be fantastic if you could do that.
If it helps:
1. I can give you a vBulletin>WebBBS converter to look at the code. A friend of mine had his board converted at www.dr1.com . I personally am not crazy about vBulletin.
2. I could post or email a few of those messages to look at its structure.
I hope you will undertake this venture!!

To write a converter I mostly need just one thing, that thing being the datadump of your existing forum.

Datadump is essentially the archive of all the forum data that I could use to reverse engineer the forum's data structure and based on that write a conversion utility.

Depends on how big the file is, if it is >2-3 megs that please put the compressed version somewhere online where I can download it.

That only covers about 38,000 posts.
I have 60,000 +/- total
What should I do?

Thanks for the dump, after comparing it with 5.11 (based on Changelog) I am afraid it is indeed rather different. This means that it would make it virtually pointless to write a converter for an old release with the knowledge it won't work with a more recent release.
