After Ive installed FUD 2.3.7 i did a testdrive Very Happy but i dont get
ANY Mails from my new FUD Forum.
The Webspace/php is ok. There are two another Forums beside (phpbb and openBB) and they can send Mails without any problems.
Is there a workaroud?
Or can anyone tell me a SMTP Server that i can use?
My EMail-provider want to recive-then-send Methode Rolling Eyes

Are you using forum's SMTP or php's native mail(), the latter is the default.

At first i try the php-mailer(default), and then i try the smtp of my personal Email Provider ( http://www.gmx.de )
GMX want to recieve bevor sending. I think if i try another Email Provider it will be working. If anyone knows a good one, tell me please Wink
But im wondering about the php-mailer. Why dont send it any Mails?

After the phpmailer dont work, i try to make it with a smtp mailer.
But i always get Erros like this one:
ERROR: stmp server at mail.epost.de is not avaliable
Additional Problem Info: 0 ->

I dont find any errors and try much combinations, but no mail Sad
Can anyone give me a working SMTP Server?
Is it possible that my php is misconfigured?
Here's my Systeminfo:

The error you are seeing is not a forum error per say, for some reason the forum cannot connect to the specified SMTP server. Have you tried using the native PHP mail() function to send emails via/from the forum?

Yes. Ive been testing PHP mail() at first. But it don`t works for me.
Then ive try to get it running with a SMTP Server. I made an account at http://freenet.de and read the Readme for "AUTH-SMTP with freenet". Freenet doesnt have POP-befor-SMTP Authentifikation.
So i think that MUST be working with the FUD-SMTP Mailer.But i only get this Message if i wanna sent mails:
ERROR: stmp server at mx.freenet.de is not avaliable

Is it possible that something is going wrong with the Installation?
The phpBB of my friend and my openBB works on the same Webspace with the PHPmailer !??!
Any Hints?

Ive got found the problem. FUD was always working fine!
My ISP have crashed his sendmail. Now it was fixed and the FUD MAiler works really great! Sorry for wasting your Time. Rolling Eyes
