Hello

I'm trying to make a mailing list gateway with a FUDforum msg board and ever message that comes in from the mailing list is created on the message board as a new topic, even when done as a direct reply to a established topic on the forum. If you would have any advice on fixing this I would be very appreciative.

PHP built On: Linux cube 2.4.18 #4 Fri May 31 01:25:31 PDT 2002 i686 MySQL Version: PostgreSQL 7.3 on i686-pc-linux-gnu, compiled by GCC 2.95.3 PHP Version: 4.3.0 Web Server: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) PHP/4.3.0 mod_ssl/2.8.12 OpenSSL/0.9.6d WebServer to PHP interface: apache Forum Version: 2.3.7RC2 Relavent PHP Settings:
Safe Mode: OFF
Display Errors: ON
File Uploads: ON
Magic Quotes: OFF
Register Globals: OFF
Output Buffering: OFF
Disabled Functions: none
PSpell Support: Yes

That's a direct paste from my forum but the first thing I did when I had problems even setting up the mailing list gateway was upgrade to the current so the version of the forum is 2.3.8 and not 2.3.7RC2 Smile

Hmm...

Generally the forum uses a certain set of header fields to determine message association, lack of those fields would cause a problem. To combat it, you can turn on a certain settings that will try to match messages based on subject.
