I was reading about spam email recently and was surprised to hear that address-gathering bots do not recognise email that has control codes embedded in them.

I recommend then, that the 'contact' address at the bottom should be altered to remove the @ sign and replace it with the @ symbol.

I have seen a blog php script that converted most of the address to control codes before placing them on a site.

I wonder if Fudforum should do this automatically too.
