And it's getting really fustrating!

Ok my forum is up and running it's all fine and working except for one thing!
URL specified avatars won't work!
Thet're enabled and everything but they don't work.

My freind want's this as his avatar:
http://aim2win.bizland.com/okideas/polarblue.gif

however even though it is a pefectly compatable file, size shape and file type it won't show! Only a box with a red cross in it appears!

I've looked at the image preoperties, just to make sure that it isn't the address that's wrong and this appears as the adress, which is not what was typed in!:
http://aim2win.bizland.com/forum/images/custom_avatars/14

So I went into his profile to alter it and instead, and this is what baffles me, it has tried to change it to either an uploaded avatar or a built in avatar, which it nothing works!

It's not just this URL there's a number that don't work, why?

Please help this is really fustrating!
Thanks in advance!
-Olly

When given a URL avatar the forum will download the image and store it locally, to prevent the user from changing the image at the specified URL and possibly breaking the forum.
As for why the image appears as a big red 'X' i dunno, I am guessing the browser cannot figure out how to display it.
