Hello.

I fixed a bug in 2.3.8, with malformed SMTP email envelope information.

The file I fixed it in was the remail.php in the theme directory. (non-data)

Is this the correct file to fix it in? or are my changes going to disappear when I rebuild my theme? Which files are the "source" files and which are the "compiled" files? Thank you!

If the file has been changed in the next release the forum will make a backup of the existing file and then replace it. If the file remained unchanged since the last release, your modification will remain as is.
