drawmsg.tmpl is little more then a series of HTML blocks to change the appearance all you need to do is to modify the 'message_entry' section.

If you can't be bothered to spend the time to customize your forum to your liking, you're at a height of arrogance thinking I would do it for you.

The standard solution already exist it is as simple as:
Get used to the new layout it'll grow on you or modify message display code or find a different forum software.
