I don't think your forum is in a healthy state. I was able to change the setting via the GUI without editing any file.

Anyway, A url with invalid session will always log you out. That is expected behaviour. Changing the parameter will tell FUDforum to show URL's without sessions (where it can). So, next time you copy a URL, it will hopefully not log you out.
