Even this is possible:
| PHP-GTK is a PHP extension that implements language bindings for GTK+.
| It provides an object-oriented interface to GTK+ classes and functions
| and greatly simplifies writing client side cross-platform GUI
| applications.
PHP is a multi-purpose language and can run in every environment, as
long as there's a compiler/interpreter available. It can run with or
without a webserver, directly in a shell, as a GUI application, even
client-side in a browser if you want (yes, such plugins exist).
