Illia - thanks for your prompt reply. I tried to unlock the files as you suggested, and got this message:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /my path/adm/admlock.php on line 48

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /my path/adm/admlock.php on line 48

My website has just been moved to a new server, so I'm wondering if some of the server settings are not right. Yesterday (for example) I installed your forum but then wanted to uninstall it again because I changed my mind about where to locate it. I tried using your uninstall.php but it produced a lot of errors. I then tried to uninstall it manually (by removing the FUD files and directories, but I wasn't able to do that either, using my FTP client as well as the server file manager. I believe this to be a server problem.

So I reinstalled to a different location anyway, but now I can't see any content within any of the folders. Do you think that the errors I got when trying to unlock the files is a server issue? If so, I guess I'll have to try to work it out with my hosting company (which is not always an easy thing to do). Sad
