I have FUDforum backup and running.

I did a fresh install of the same release of FUDforum (2.6. Cool

into a new database. I then moved in my original copy of GLOBALS.php which pointed to my original database with my original configuration settings. I then copied over the attachments from the original FUDforum/files directory.

This all seemed to work except all forums were located under a "test category". I found my categories still there in the admin control panel so stepping through each one and selecting "update" fixed that problem.

My existing forum threads were also there but they were missing all body content except for the attachment icon and description. As I'm still testing FUDforum I just deleted all threads rather than worry about recovering these for now.

The next step for me is to thouroughly work through backup/recovery/relocation and upgrade of FUDforum so this doesn't happen again !
