There was a slight bug in the upgrade script, that is already fixed, which is the cause for the problem you are seeing.
Run the following query, it'll fix the problem.

ALTER TABLE fud_users ADD show_im ENUM('Y', 'N') NOT NULL DEFAULT 'Y';
