You really need to upgrade your forum to the latest stable 3.0.0 release. In the mean time, disable "Check for Duplicates" in the Global Settings Manager.

I am the moderator of a FUDforum.

Neither I or the administrator can figure out how to edit the first message of a topic. We keep getting an error which says one can not create a duplicate topic. How do we handle this?
