I let go of checking my member list for a couple of weeks, and then when I looked at it I found 103 bogus new members. Folks with usernames like viagra, cialis, free porn, etc. These folks almost never post to the forums, but they do enter a www address more often than not. I deleted them, one at a time, just to keep my mysql table size down. My question is, is there a way to delete all 103 bogus users with one button click? Of course, there were three or four legitimate new members sprinkled through the list. I am still puzzled as to why these people persist in joining but not posting. I can tell that some of the same people are joining over and over again, with or without a variation in usernames. Do others have this problem, or am I just being anal?
