Hi.

I have finally got FUDform installed, and it's coming along except for one small thing, and it is for me to import usenet news groups into the board it requires that I have access to where the php cli may be. I've been trying to find it's path. Now the default path is /usr/bin/php, which is a directory I do not have access to. I am asking if there is an alternate path which I may have access on a server or is there software (plugin etc) which may help me overcome this little problem since this is really the only reason why I wish to use FUDform is for having the usenet news groups. Which btw makes this forum software the best I have used to date.

One more thing, if anyone here has indeed installed FUDform, and has actually got this to work, I would appreciate it if you could pass on that information.

Thanks...

Your system administrator will know where PHP is installed:

$ which php
/usr/bin/php

By default anyone on the system can use it to execute PHP scripts:
$ ls -l /usr/bin/php
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2849248 Jul 16  2008 /usr/bin/php

Hi, sorry to have taken so long to respond.

Well the moment of truth, I'm a total nit! I just read your suggestions above, and I have no idea where to even put those lines. So where do I begin?

I know, "oh no, another noob"...well I can let you in on a little secret, we are everywhere Smile

Any help would be appreciated.
