Hi everyone,

I'm new to FUD and I'm using FUDForum2Go to create a small in-office community.

So far so good, I have added my users, added the forums I need, but I want to import some XML/RSS-type feeds that I currently view on Google Reader, e.g.

ht tp :// www . theregister .co.uk/headlines.rss

I use the XML aggregator to add the feed, then create a job to schedule the import. I do a "Run Now" and it whirrs away and goes and retrieves all the stories.... BUT

ALl there is is a title and the first few lines of the story. The title isn't an active link, and I can't see any other way to bring in the rest of the body.

I've tried it with "Allow HTML" turned off and with it turned on I get the same fragment with a bit of HTML in it.

Can anyone give me a clue?

Much appreciated,
Thanks,
Harry

P.S. Sorry about mangling the link but it's my first post Smile

Your feed only has partial bodies, FUDforum can only import what is gets.
Try to find a feed with full bodies.

It seems to be every feed. Perhaps I'm just using the wrong URL. Do you have an example of a public feed that's as you decribe?

FUDforum can only import the information given to it. If the URL doesn't have complete bodies, you are out of luck. It's that simple.
