I've been trying to send emails through the member profile system and all I get back is error message. I'm not using STMP; that invariably kicks back a "returned to sender" email to my subdomain's inbox for anything at all. My web provider hasn't been able to help either. The FUD email service IS sending out forum notifications, which is great. It's also sending out welcome and new user registration notices. It even sends out PM notifications. I just don't know what to do about the member-to-member emails.

Here's the information from my error log. It's being sent from the forum's webmail account. I exed out the email address.)

Wed May 20 3:55:07 GMT 2015 Your system didn't accept E-mail [Just a test] to ixxxxxxx(at)gmail(dot)com for delivery. Details @ 1432094107_f067ce7907f8c343deee35b6a79af76e

and the file manager (I exed out my web host login exed out):

1428898334_5745b19eaa27bd473aaedfb3f75a3434 lxxxxx vusers 0.23 2015-04-13 00:12 -rw-rw-rw-- (666) chmod d/l edt ren del

I've read somewhere else that the permission (666) is not kosher for FUD. If it's not, how/where do I change it?

I'm having a problem where the registration emails aren't being sent.
So, I've heard that folder permissions should be 755 and file permissions should be 644 overall. To change the permissions you will need cpanel access or SSH access. In cpanel it's rather easy just use the File Manager. Be aware that on folders with lots of files or choosing multiple files/folders with File Manager that it doesn't work 100% of the time. If you have to change lots of file permissions I would use SSH and manually run commands to change permissions.
