Hello
I just finished redesign and woudl like to add few new features, templates, screens. Where could I find any info about how pages are generated (mechanism, philosophy, rules).

Well some of the FUDforum's templating basics are covered in the manual. The more detailed data you can look @ the compiler.inc source code. That is the 'magic' script that does all the compiling & assembling of the templates.
