Install successful, but cannot post new messages [message #7975]

I have setup several new forums, and can view them, but when I try to post (even as the ADMINSTRATOR) account, fudforum seems to "forget" the fact that I am logged in, and prints out a "System error" contact your administrator. No errors in the errors.log of the apache web server, either....

Any ideas? E.G. new forums cannot be added to.
