| problem with "Import forum data" [message #11435] |

i upgraded to 2.5 but failed (another story, maybe later), so i reinstalled 2.3.8 and restored my backup
everything seems ok except the images, here's the error message:
Commencing restore of data files
ERROR: Directory '/var/www/html/forum/images//var/www/html/forum/images/custom_avatars' does not exist and the import script was unable to create it
Unable to open /var/www/html/forum/images//var/www/html/forum/images/custom_avatars/index. html for write

temporarily create /var/www/html/forum/images//var/www/html/forum/images/custom_avatars directory and once import is done move the files from there to appropriate directories.

that would be some works cause it's not only the avatars but all the images, "mime", "forum_icon", "smiley_icon" ...
about the upgrade (2.3.8 to 2.5.0), it seems ok until i did what it suggested to "run SQL table optimizer" after the consistency check
i've tried twice, got the same result
i was in a hurry to restore my backup that i forgot to save the error message, but i sent it to you vir icq yesterday (when this happened) cause i saw your icq status is online, although i didn't get a reply
i hope you got it
anyway, what i can recall from the error message is that somehow it uses apache@localhost to connect to the database, instead of the right user and password
