Thanks to 2 people who have provided me with a phpBB2 datadump the conversion script was updated and is now confirmed to work with phpBB 2.0.4 & 2.0.6.

The conversion script will convert phpBB2 to FUDforum 2.6.0RC6+. The updated script will be made avaliable at the time of the next FUDforum release.
Till then I am attaching it to this message.

If I may ask, Im new to this. How would you sugest s use this script? Ive added it in the file manager in my c panel. in the fud forums directory. is there any way you could perhaps tell me how to use it? i guess my problem is not knowing how to open it.

You need to download the script, change one line in it to give it the value of the phpbb config file. Then upload it into the fudforum directory and run it from the web browser.
