maybe this is linked to the other thread

Re: how to use the datadump file

or not ???
anyway i chose to start a new thread

i am not allowed permission to write to the .tmpl files using my editor/ftp setup --- i was before
so i tried unlocking the forums files but i got this error
ERROR: couldn't chmod "/home/oneweekofdays/www/forum/adm/admimpt.php"

ERROR: couldn't chmod "/home/oneweekofdays/www/forum/stylesheet.css"

now the stylesheet is one i put in myself that the header uses --- it was in the same folder in the old forum and didn't cause a problem

obviously the other one is the one that got edited

it would be good to be able to lock and unlock the files without an error and edit the .tmpl fies in an editor

thanks

You get this error because the files you uploaded have a different user id than the forum files. you need to upload your stuff via the integrated file manager, then anything will be alright.
However since you cannot do anything to that files right now I'd suggest deleting them via your ftp client first Wink
