I searched around for a while, but didn't find anything about it. I'm looking for a hack to allow users to choose custom titles, instead of "Junior Member" and such. It was a feature I enjoyed on phpbb, but don't see on FUD. Has this already been covered somewhere that I missed?

The admin can assign as many custom titles to users as they want via the user manager.

The post based levels can be controlled via the level/rank manager.

So there's no way for a user to choose his own title without bugging the admin. I'm thinking maybe the easiest way to make a workaround would be to copy or alter the code for 'location' or somesuch.

It was a feature that was heavily used with our old board. I'm looking for a way for our admin to enable it without having to do much. He's a bit overworked as it is. I guess I should look to modify the code myself (this'll be fun to watch Razz ) unless I can find an instance of something similar that I could modify easily.

Know of anything that would aid in my search? Maybe some suggested keywords other than 'custom' and 'title' ?

custom_tags is the database field inside the user's table where this is being stored. Look @ the code on the user admin control panel for how to populate it.
