IN the reply page, shouldn't the messages be sorted in the reverse order? Is there a config option for this.

Shouldn't the poster who is making the reply want to see the post to which he is actually replying rather than the whole forum?

What if a thread is few thousand messages long?

No, the message are sorted in the other they are posted. If there several thousand messages inside one topic (why would this ever happen??) then "1st unread msg" link will quickly take you to the 1st new message.

i am talking about the reply post page. Not the main thread page. The messages are also listed IN the page where you type your reply. In fudforum, it is listed in the same order as in the main message list.

But i would mainly want to have the message i am replying to there.
