This program works great.

One problem though.

My users continue to reply to email sent to them from the system by using the Reply button in their email client rather then the Reply link in the HTML email or the link in a Plain Text email.

I keep getting their email as systems administrator.

How can I either prevent them from using the client Reply button or get FudForum to search an email box and connect the replies to the correct forum.

This is becoming a major problem.

By the way, I have posted directions clearly on the home page on the correct way to work with the system, but it doesn't help.

You can set the Reply-To address to a specialized address that replies to which would go into FUDforum's mailing list import facility and subsequently to the forum.

I didn't know that the program had that capability.

Where is it configured?

I checked out that controil panel and read the manual

Where do I set the username and password of the email account that your program needs to download email sent to the address specified for each forum?

You need to do that outside of the forum, the forum's maillist.php utility imports messages yes, but something needs to pipe/provide messages for it. Most common tool is postfix, although if you look in the code hacks forum, someone added a via-pop3 process for injecting messages from an e-mail account into FUD.

Given that I have many forums, and given that all replys will be sent to one email address, I need a hack that can determine which forum to refer an email to based on contents of the subject line.

Any idea of where I can find this hack?

I thought that there might already be one for this purpose.

Given that there isn't is anyone out there interested in writing one? If so, how much will it cost?
