Im not sure of the correct section, but, quite a few of the memebers of my forum are experiencing delays in page refreshes and delays in posting. I personally have not seen this but im not a big poster!!!

I have nothing showing in the forum logs and i am on a fast server with an extremely fast pipe. Can anybody suggest i potential causes please?

Have you checked your server's utilization:
- CPU load
- I/O throughput
- Is your system swapping?
- Anything else running (i.e. weekly backups maybe)?
Etc.

its a very pokey box, san and fast pipe...
i monitor it with cacti and nagios and to be honest, nothing is jumping out. ill continue the investigation..

i have two forums and a bunch of other sites on the same machine and both forums are seeing the same issue. Im starting to think it may be a firewall or a dodgy network maybe. ill let you know
