Hello everyone,

It's been pointed out to me by one of my users that attachments aren't handled correctly in version 2.8.

First they are included _after_ the signature so normal news clients that access the nntp server that I'm syncing too just strip it out. This is a common function for nntp clients. As such, the attachment is seen as part of the sig and gets clipped off.

Also, the attachment is UU-encoded instead of MIME-encoded. I don't exactly understand all the difference between those to but I think MIME-encoding is actually what we want to do.

FUDforum only supports posting of UUencoded attachments (for Usenet news). If this is not sufficient, you are welcome to write the required code and contribute it back to the community.
