Just recently setup up a installation of FUDforum, but I am running into the issue below when a non-admin/mod user posts a message.

[Error] Invalid Input
[Message Sent to User] You have followed an invalid link. Please notify the webmaster how you got here.
[User IP] 192.168.15.2
[Requested URL] <snip> .org/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=33&S=724d6a306cdb6a283533c3c2ecaa8b 98
[Referring Page] <snip> .org/forum/index.php?t=post&frm_id=1&S=724d6a306cdb6a283533c3c2ecaa 8b98

Any suggestions?

This is a problem with 3.0.1 if you set "Moderate user's first N messages" ($MOD_FIRST_N_POSTS) to 0. This was fixed in r4956.

Workaround: set it to -1.

I just loose one hour for a bug fixed 5 month ago Sad

I have seen that too a couple of times, didn't report it since I couldn't reproduce it.

Can anyone else confirm that the "-1" setting workaround is the solution?
(like I said I can't reproduce it, therefore I can't test the workaround either... )

I can confirm r4956 fixes this bug, at least I couldn't reproduce it anymore despite various tests with new users after applying it.
